Vietnam will host the Asia-Pacific Robocon Contest in 2013, reported Pham Viet Tien, the Vice Chairman of the organising board before the 2012 Robocon finals.
He added that the theme for 2013 will be chosen by Vietnam and the contest will be harder than ever before.
The organising board also plans to invite a number of European teams instead of just teams from the Asia-Pacific region as before.
Tien said that Vietnam Television will continue to organise the Robocon contest after the 2012 contest-VNA
According to Vietnamese journalist Pham Tien, subject Robocon Asia Pacific 2013, which is host Vietnam will have a drastic change.
"The theme of the 2013 competition will eliminate most of the inherent constraints of the robot creation competition every year.
